Environmental factors that can cause Cancer

Many factors from the environment can cause cancer and most of these are from man made sources. Contaminated water, air and soil can all contribute to acquired cancer that results from excessive intake or absorption of cancer causing substances by the human body. Other causes of the disease can be linked to workplace hazards such as the handling of materials that are seemingly safe in the short term but accumulates and causes the disease to surface years after exposure.
